Calculations of the potential amount of food waste from apartment units along the two streets (12th St between Ave A & B, and Ave B between 13th St & 11th St)—Down to Earth Garden is situated at the southwest corner of 12th & B, at the intersection of these two streets forming a ‘T'(1).
(1) This intersection is not an actual T-intersection; the street along 12th St from Ave B to C is not included since the street mainly has a school, playground, another community garden, courtyard, parking lot, with residential buildings at the far end near Ave C.
